MUTUAL AID FAST ASSIGNMENT TO CANTERBURY

Sunday, February 24, 2008- At 12:04 QVEC dispatched the Canterbury Fire Department with mutual aid from Central Village, Scotland, Plainfield ET-295, and Moosup FAST for a reported garage fire on Westminster Road. First arriving  Engine 193 reported heavy fire in an attached 2 car garage. The first line stretched was able to hold the fire from extending to the living space, while additional lines knocked down the main body of fire in the garage. The crew from Ladder 194 split keeping one crew for FAST and second assisted in opening up and overhaul. Moosup units returned at 14:00
