Sunday, December 2, 2007-At 13:30 QVEC received a call reporting a structure fire on Brunswick Avenue in Moosup. Station 94, 97, 96, and 95/61 FAST were dispatched to the scene. Car 194(Deputy Chief Yellen) arrived on scene and reported smoke showing from the rear of a 2-1/2 story, wood frame duplex. Car 94(Chief Theriault) arrived and established "Moosup Command". Command updated responding units of working fire in the basement. First arriving L-194 split their crew. One crew stretched 1-3/4" line to the rear and the second crew opened up. ET-197 arrived and was instructed to conduct primary searches and check for extension. Once ventilation was complete the fire was quickly brought under control. Additional crews conducted secondary searches and overhual. All units were clear the scene at 14:45.
